Anna
is the Director and founder of Au Pair in Argentina. Born in London she comes from a large family and so has always been surrounded by children. She finds their energy and enthusiasm inspiring and which is what led her to a career working with kids. When she was 18 she went to Madrid to au pair, where she not only had a fantastic experience, but also witnessed firsthand the benefits an au pair had on the children’s language and general development. Anna’s love of travelling brought her further afield to South America, where she noticed that the European concept of an au pair was not really understood, nor really existed, so she decided to fill this gap in the market. She chose Argentina as a starting point because of its close ties with the European culture and the nation’s interest in the English language, as well as her own love of the country, culture and people! She uses her MA in Psychology to ensure the au pairs selected are of the highest quality and that both the au pair and family are matched using guidelines such as their expectations, living habits and hobbies, so that they both have the best experience possible whilst working together.
Isabel
is the Families Coordinator for Au Pair in Argentina. She grew up in London with her 6 brothers and sisters. Coming from a big family has made her a friendly and open person who understands the importance of harmony in the home.
In 2008, she first came to Buenos Aires as part of a study abroad programme. After gradutating from the University of Sheffield in 2010 she moved back to Argentina where she has set up a life for herself.
Isabel has experience working with children, running kids camps in Argentina. She herself had a french au pair growing up so she has nurtured the essence of au pair from an early age. The chance to communicate with people from different backgrounds and cultures was what brought her to Argentina and Au Pair in Argentina.
